The sound of music.

Emotional Music Therapy is a technique some hospitals use to make patients, visitors, and staff feel better during a chaotic time.

This week I saw the Wenzels play Eric Claption in the NICU at Desert Regional Medical Center. It was moving, inspirational, and pleasant to listen to! The music not only soothes the babies and stimulates their brains, it gives parents a sense of security, knowing their children are in the hands of calmed medical staff, as well.

The Wenzels are a couple who dedicates their free time to learning new scores and tailoring the music to the people who will listen. (That includes the Beatles and nursery rhymes, alike.) Check it out.
