Friends in low places.

If you've never been to Trail Dust Town or Pinnacle Peak in Tucson, I highly suggest it.

It's the Knott's Ghost Town of Tucson. The exaggerated Wild West -- outlaws running amok, a saloon, an apothecary, cigars, jail, a railroad, stagecoaches, gold mining, explosives!

It's especially great if you like good steak, fun people, and great backdrops for photos.

If that's not your thing, maybe you're boring.

KGUN9's Good Morning Tucson and The CW Tucson joined forces for an awesome Christmas promotion at Trail Dust Town. SANTA was there! (cue Buddy: "I know him!")

Santa looked an awful lot like Big Al in a suit. Probably because it was. (btw, a backwards one. Watch for that in the :15 IDs on a television near you.) We won't tell the real Santa Big Al wore it.

So Alexa Liacko, Carlos Herrera, and I decided we couldn't let the opportunity to take pictures galore, dressed as a Christmas-episode version of enthusiastic middle school teacher Jessica Day and an Hispanic Schmidt, pass us by.

(SCROLL DOWN FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT. IT'S PRETTY CUTE.)
